Founded in 2021, The Comb Company: A Lance Davis concept was born. Our founder, Lance, saw that there was a need in the market for a personalized and private experience in the salon world. We wanted to cater to two things; a private salon experience for our guests and a well-connected work space for leading hair designers in our community. The Comb Company has strived to bring something that is a hybrid between salon suites and commission based salons. Lance aspired to merge the two worlds together for both guests and leading artists in the industry. We look forward to having you experience our salon and one of a kind atmosphere. Our founder

Starting his career over 10 years ago; Lance has had a driving passion to grow the industry of beauty and self-care. Through continious learning and education, our founder has cultivated his own advanced training and education program for our designers here at The Comb Company. He has spent time working for industry leading companies such as; Aveda, R & Co, and Estee Lauder. Lance has spent many years competing in the editorial world and has been nominated for NAHA (North American Hair Dresser of the Year) Midwest Hair Stylist of the Year, and has been featured in many magazines around the world from Vogue Italia to Vanity Fair. Lance has spent time assisting in developing product and color formulas for leading industry brands, he aspires for everyone to know the “why” behind why we do what we do.

We want to create a look and style that fits you not just on face shape and skin-tone; but on your lifestyle!… My dream is to create a space for the most passionate of hair artist. It all started with a dream, when Lance conceived the idea of The Comb Company. Lance works behind the chair Tuesday- Friday on clients and spends his time away from the chair developing, educating and keeping the staff “sharp”. Lance has build his recognition in the industry from his expansive knowledge on products and has many years of education and experience based in hair color and well-tailored hair cutting.
